1 box NOMU MiniMakes Spiced Cake Batter Mix
1 cup granola
1/2 crunchy peanut butter
1/4 cup honey
1 cup dates, chopped and dissolved in 1/2 cup boiling water and 1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda
2 eggs
Handful mixed seeds, to sprinkle
Melted chocolate, to decorate
Preheat the oven to 170°C.
Place the MiniMakes dry mix in a bowl and stir in the granola. Add the peanut butter, honey and date mixture. Mix and add the eggs.
Grease a 25 x 25cm cake tin with non-stick spray and line with baking paper on the bottom. Spread dough evenly in the tin. It’s a bit sticky – I place a piece of baking paper on top and level it out with a glass.
Sprinkle over some pumpkin and sunflower seeds (any seeds will do).
Bake for 25 -30min and set aside to cool.
Once cool, spread over the melted chocolate. Do not allow the chocolate to set completely before cutting into bars.
