1 box NOMU MiniMakes Chocolate Cake Batter Mix
2 large eggs
1/3 cup (80ml) oil
200ml milk
Sauce:
2 cups (500ml) water
200ml sugar
2 tbsp (30ml) coffee powder
2 tsp (10ml) vanilla essence
Topping:
1 can Caramel Treat
90g instant pudding mix
400ml milk
To serve:
Whipping cream
Slab of chocolate
Mix the cake batter as per the packaging instructions and bake at 180°C until a skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean.
While the sponge is baking, prepare the sauce. Place all the ingredients in a saucepan and simmer for 2-3 minutes until syrupy and all the sugar is dissolved.
Remove the cake from the oven and poke holes all over the top. Pour over the sauce immediately and allow to cool.
For the topping, mix the caramel treat with the instant pudding powder, then mix in the milk. Beat until slightly stiff. Pour over the cooled cake and chill in the fridge for about 1 hour.
Whip the cream to stiff peaks and decorate the top of the tart as desired. Grate over some chocolate and serve!
